Bumgardner your Walking Guide
This
would be considered the best stop to make first on your journey to
education on walking and in particular the Avon 3-Day. What I like about
the site is that the site is not condescending - i.e., they don't treat
you like the village idiot (which is basically what I am on this subject.)
Rather, the information is presented in an orderly fashion which
acknowledges the established walker and leads the novice from the darkness
into the light. Terrific set of links as well if you really want to wander
the Net on the subject. |

Okay, let's be honest, who
doesn't love to buy neat stuff like t-shirts, hats and power pants (good
marketing on their part because everyone is going to need power pants by
the second day just to move forward.) Sure you probably don't have
to have most of the stuff, but if you're going to train all those miles,
shouldn't you look good doing it? Of course you should, otherwise the
fashion police may pull you over for a violation.
They also have nice thank
you cards which if you do your fundraising right you will need lots of. |

Pledge Page |
Run to this website if you
are doing any type of fundraising since they give you free pages (and lots
of help if you need it in setting your pages up) to sing your song on. And
let's be honest, you can't have your name out there enough if you are
asking for money. Besides it sounds pretty neat to say "Well, check out my
webpage at
http://restingrabbit.pledgepage.com," doesn't it? |
